After a number of lockdowns it was only a matter of time before we got to witness a baby boomer or two.
A number of well-known celebrities have welcomed new babies to the world over the past year.
There have been a number of royal arrivals, with Prince Harry and Princess Eugenie among the famous new parents.

Many celebrities from all over the world have joined their families this year, but we take a look at some of the UK celebrities who have shared their new bundles of joy with the world this year.
Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash
Stacey received the best birthday present she could ask for as her eldest daughter arrived on her birthday.
Rose Opal Esmè Solomon-Swash, whom Stacey shares with her fiance Joe Swash, was born on October 5.
The Loose Women panelist openly shares her life on social media and was quick to announce the birth to her fans.
She is already a mom to Rex, 2, whom she shares with Joe and Zach and Leighton whom she had in previous relationships.
Danielle Lloyd and Michael O’Neill
Danielle Lloyd was another celebrity to give birth to her first daughter after already having a brood of boys.
She was also very fond of the name Rose, but after seeing Stacey Solomon choose the name, she went for something different.
Danielle and Michael welcomed their daughter Autumn Rose O’Neill on November 12.
The newborn is Danielle’s second child with husband Michael, as they also share a four-year-old son, Ronnie.
Jamie Redknapp and Frida Redknapp
Footballer Jamie and his new wife Frida have welcomed a baby boy, Raphael Anders Redknapp.
He was born in Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, and the new parents thanked the staff when they announced his birth on social media.
Jamie wrote: “Meet Raphael Anders Redknapp, we’re so in love, mum is doing so well too. We can’t thank the amazing doctors and nurses in Chelsea and Westminster enough. So excited he’s meeting my boys.”
Pete Sandiford and Paige Yeomans
Gogglebox star Pete announced at the 2021 NTA Awards that he would become a dad. He said, “It’s a bit overwhelming, everything is happening right now!”
He then introduced his son, Jimmy, to the world by having the newborn baby appear on Gogglebox with him and his sister Sophie.
Danny Miller and Steph Jones
Emmerdale star Danny Miller and his fiancee Steph welcomed a newborn baby just before he was due to travel to North Wales to participate in I’m a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here.
The couple had planned to go through IVF before finding out Steph was pregnant with their miracle baby.
She gave birth to their son Albert in October and Danny entered the castle soon after, where he was crowned the winner after three weeks.
The victory meant that Danny could secure the financial future of the family.
Dani Dyer and Sammy Kimmence
Love Island 2018 winner Dani Dyer and boyfriend Sammy Kimmence welcomed a baby boy into the world on Saturday, January 23.
However, the couple later broke up when Sammy was jailed for fraud for scamming two pensioners out of £ 34,000.
Dani has since raised their son, Santiago, as a single mother.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their second child into the world this year.
Megan gave birth to a baby girl on Friday, June 4, naming her Lilibet Diana as a tribute to the Queen and Princess Diana.
They already had a son named Archie.
Laura Norton and Mark Jordan
Real couple Emmerdale Laura Norton and Mark Jordon (AKA Kerry Wyatt and Daz Spencer) welcomed their first child into the world on January 29.
The couple met on set when Mark joined the cast in 2014 as Daz Spencer while Laura played Kerry Wyatt, and there is an 18-year age gap between them.
They named their son Jesse.
Lacey Turner and Matt Kay
EastEnders actress Lacey Turner (Stacey Slater) welcomed her second child with husband Matt Kay.
The couple named their newborn son Trilby, and they already had a daughter named Dusty.
She later admitted that she would love to have four children, as she put it: “We are so lucky to have the two we have, but I will definitely have more. It certainly won’t be anytime soon though. – we have our hands full right now! ”
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank
Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank welcomed their first child into the world on Tuesday, February 9.
They had a baby boy weighing 8 pounds 1 ounce named August Philip Hawke.
Buckingham Palace issued a statement which read: “The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, The Duchess of York and Mr. and Mrs. George Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted to the news. Her Royal Highness and her child are both well. “
Helen Flanagan and Scott Sinclair
Another baby who shared a parent’s birthday was Helen and Scott’s newborn son.
Their baby boy, named Charlie Scott Sinclair, arrived on March 25 on his father’s birthday.
Charlie was the couple’s third child together.
Laura Whitmore and Iain Sterling
Love Island’s Laura Whitmore and her husband Iain Sterling have chosen not to publicly announce the news of their new addition.
The news broke when they were spotted in London with their newborn daughter in early April.
This is the couple’s first child.
Brooke Vincent and Kean Bryan
Coronation Street star Brooke welcomed her second child in May with her partner Kean.
She had two babies in less than two years and said she no longer plans to have more children at the moment and that two is “more than enough”.
His sons are called Mexx and Monroe.
Mrs. Hinch and Jamie Hinchliffe
Cleaning sensation Ms Hinch, real name Sophie Hinchliffe, gave birth to her second child in May
Her husband Jamie is the father of her two children and they have welcomed a baby boy named Lennie.
They already had their oldest son Ronnie.
Harry and Izzy Judd
McFly drummer Harry Judd and his wife Izzy have confirmed the birth of their third child in October.
They had a baby boy named Lockie Magnus Christopher Judd.
The couple were already parents to Lola and Kit.
Rachel Riley and Pasha Kovalevz
Countdown star Rachel Riley and her husband, ex-professional Strictly Pasha Kovalev, welcomed their second child into the world in November.
Their daughter arrived with a bang, 15 days after Rachel’s due date, on November 5.
The couple called her Noa.
Boris and Carrie Johnson
Prime Minister Boris Johnson welcomed their second child together in December.
In a statement, a spokesperson for the couple said: “The Prime Minister and Ms Johnson are delighted to announce the birth of a healthy baby girl in a London hospital earlier today.
“Mother and daughter are doing very well. The couple would like to thank the brilliant NHS maternity team for all of their care and support.”
They named their new daughter Romy.
