Pregnant Pooja Banerjee worries she might have to take a forced break from work amid Omicron concerns

TV actor Pooja Banerjee is expecting her first child with husband Sandeep Sejwal and is due in March.

Actress Pooja Banerjee shot nonstop for her TV show, even when she was pregnant. But rising Covid-19 cases and fear of Omicron in Maharashtra are forcing him to think twice before going to work.

“I didn’t tell the creators of my show that I was quitting yet. If there are too many cases and there is a fear, then I may have to take a break and it will be a forced break long before I expected it. But health comes first, I can’t help it. If we get there, we have to do it “, shares the actor, expected in March.

She recently celebrated her baby shower and says nothing has been communicated to them so far regarding the stopping of filming in the state.

“Filming will continue for the moment. Last time around we all moved to Goa to continue filming after the lockdown was imposed on Maharashtra. At the moment, I obviously can’t afford to do that. If that happens, then I have to stop, ”she tells us.

Banerjee, who is married to swimmer Sandeep Sejwal, was on the set of her TV show until December 29 and she says she is taking things slow for now to see how the situation unfolds. For now, she is tracking all the dos and don’ts her doctor has suggested given her condition.

“Suddenly I see cases everywhere, even in my building, there are so many cases. It’s not scary because that’s how our life is going to be right now. Vaccinated people are infected; healthy people have a fever for a day and recover after a day or two. We cannot be afraid of it. We all have to take care of ourselves, ”shares the actor.

As for how 2022 is going to go for her, she says she’s both excited and nervous.

“There are so many different types of feelings. Plan mode is on and we literally organize from home, closets, clothes, taking care of finances and work. There is so much organizational work that we do continuously, ”she concludes.
