“When you’re a mom, the day flies away!”
Cheryl said she had a new outlook on life since the birth of her son.
The former Girls Aloud star is a mom to four-year-old Bear, whom she shares with One Direction’s Liam Payne.
Speaking to Women’s Health UK, she said:
“I have a whole different perspective now that I’m responsible for another human.
“I care less about the stupid things and more about the important things in life, like Bear’s health and happiness.”
Cheryl and Liam dated from 2016 to 2018 and have remained good friends since their split, successfully co-parenting Bear.
The star admitted that she rarely has time to exercise these days as she finds Bear to keep her very busy and her schedule completely revolves around him.
“After I drop Bear off at the nursery, I do my work calls and chores, and then it’s time to pick him up.
“Exercise is not high on my priority list at the moment – I haven’t done anything regularly for over a year – but I recently bought a Peloton spin bike.
“I’ve used it a few times and enjoy it, especially with music. But when you’re a mom, the day goes by, so I don’t use it that often.”
She went on to reveal that meditation has really helped her maintain her inner peace and improve her mental health.
“Meditation has changed my life,” she said.
“I do this every night and sometimes during the day for at least 20 minutes at a time while my son Bear is in nursery.
“I used to use the Insight Timer and Calm apps to guide me, but now I know what I’m doing. “
